WORKPLACES

Bring your workplace together
to make a difference, by running,
rolling, or strolling each morning
during the month of your choice and raise funds
for families facing childhood cancer.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH YOUR WORKPLACE

By taking part in the Sun Up Challenge as a workplace team, you can make a huge difference in the lives of children with cancer, and their families. It’s a great way to build team spirit, increase fitness, and encourage a stronger sense of community and corporate responsibility.

Once you’ve created your team page, you can send out invites to everyone you know to join your team and raise funds together. Check our resources for tools to help, or get in touch at corporate@redkite.org.au.

NEXT STEPS FOR YOUR WORKPLACE

How do I create a workplace team?

add remove

It’s simple! When you sign up, just tick ‘Create an Organisational Team.’ Alternatively, you can go to your fundraising dashboard, go to Start a Team, and follow the instructions.

Do I need a personal fundraising page and a workplace team page?

add remove

Correct! You and each team member will need a personal fundraising page in addition to your team page – so your supporters can choose to donate to your team page or any of your personal pages.

Does each workplace team need a captain?

add remove

Yes! The team captain is the person who can invite others to join your team, as well as manage the team fundraising target and blog posts. Usually, this is the person who created the team – but if you need to change your captain, just contact us at corporate@redkite.org.au.

How does someone join my workplace team?

add remove

Once you’ve signed up and created your organisational team, you'll have a team page. From there, you’ll find links to invite friends and family to join your team. Your team members then have to create their own account or log in to their existing account, and you’ll be set!

Can I change my workplace team name?

add remove

Sure can! Please note that this will also change the link to your team’s fundraising page, which means any previous links you shared will no longer work.

Can I change my workplace team fundraising target?

add remove

Absolutely. All you need to do is:

  1. Log in to your fundraising page
  2. Go to My Workplace Team
  3. Go to the Workplace Team Page Settings tab
  4. Adjust your team's fundraising target.

To change your personal fundraising target, go to your fundraising dashboard.
